BIOGRAPHY - PGM KEN TURNER
Kenneth Wilson Turner was elected Grand Master of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Ohio on 22 April 2023. Grand Master Turner is also an Engineer, a Mason, a Knight of Pythias, a Father, a Grand Father, and devoted Church Member. His theme is ‘Be Involved’, which he tries to follow with his whole heart.
From his early days in Carlisle, Ohio, Grand Master Turner attended and graduated from Carlisle High School, class of 1974. After graduation, he accepted a factory job while pursuing an Engineering Degree through night school at Sinclair College and the University of Dayton. His love of Mechanics and Engineering led to an Engineering position at Textron Corporation and later as a Senior Engineer for General Electric Aerospace Division.
Brother Turner has been an active member of the Odd Fellows at Friendship Lodge #21 in Germantown, Ohio ~ serving as Noble Grand in 2015 and Grand Lodge Representative until he was elected Grand Warden in 2021. He also served as Grand Patriarch of the Grand Encampment of Ohio in 2022. He holds Memberships in Germantown Encampment #74 ~ serving as Chief Patriarch in 2011, Valley Rebecca’s #145 ~ serving as Noble Grand in 2023, and Occidental Canton #21 ~ serving as Captain in 2022, and Ancient Mystic Order of Samaritans-Alamein #122. He is a member at Southbrook Christion Church in Miamisburg, Ohio. He has been an active member at Southbrook for fifteen plus years.
Grand Master Turner loves fraternal organization and the good work they accomplish. He is also a member of the Germantown Masonic Lodge #257 - F. & A. M. ~ serving as Past Master in 2010; the Royal Arch Masons ~ serving as High Priest in 2012; Adoniram Council #131 ~ Serving as Illustrious Master in 2016. He currently serves as District Education Officer for District 3 of the Grand Chapter of Ohio and as Vice Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias of Ohio at Red Star Lodge #205.
Brother Turner loves the Ohio countryside and resides in the small farming town of Gratis, Ohio, where he has lived for 30 plus years. His hobbies include reading, collecting autographed books and attending book signings. He also loves to travel, attend the theater and concerts. He has two daughters, one grandson and three granddaughters that he loves to spoil and spend time with.

Brothers and Sisters, esteemed Odd Fellows, as we stand on the threshold of the

vital for our continued growth.
In the face of adversity, let us remember the core tenets of Odd Fellowship:
Friendship, Love, and Truth. These principles have guided us through countless
challenges in the past, and they will undoubtedly serve as our compass in the days
to come.
As Odd Fellows, we must confront the evolving landscape of the world with
resilience and unity. Challenges may arise, but our bond as brothers and sisters is
unbreakable. Let us strive to strengthen our fraternal ties, supporting each other
through thick and thin.
In this new year, let innovation be our ally. Embrace new technologies and
methodologies to enhance our communication, outreach, and community service
